Angels Haven Horse Rescue

Angels Haven Horse Rescue is a 501 (c) 3 non profict organization and your donations are tax deductible.

Angels Haven Horse Rescue's mission is to save as many unfortunate victims of the horse world as we humanly can. In some instances we have to purchase the horses to remove them from harms' way. To that end, we provide care for abused, abandoned, neglected, aged and unwanted horses or those horses that can no longer be cared for by their owners for whatever reason. We accept them in any condition and do everything in our power to provide needed care and veterinary services.

Our goal is to make decisions that will help make the future for horses better than their past experiences. We want to be a hub of education in humane horse care and training methods, alternative therapies, horse rehabilitation and rescue. The only way to stop the suffering is to teach people better ways of caring for their horses. It is our goal to prevent this from occurring. Our organization's desire is to be a place for horses to become healthy and move on to have happy, productive lives and permanent loving homes. Every day young horses in their prime are starved to death, abused or sent to slaughter.

Here at the rescue we work with various organizations such as the Girl Scouts, helping them earn their horse badge, as well as 4H Clubs, Indian Guides & Princesses, local disaster teams, Kiwanis organizations, Farm Bureau, preschoolers and many more groups and community affiliations.

These adorable soaps were created especially for our horse rescue by www.countrycraftsncandies.com. If you purchase any of these soaps directly from the rescue, 100% of the proceeds will go to the rescue in order to help raise money for the care of these beautiful creatures! Country Crafts and Candies has also generously posted several items on their website which will donate 50% of each of those items sold to the rescue. Do you Know of a Horse in Need of Help?

If you own a horse that needs a new home, or know of an abused horse, please contact us. We network with other organizations and can help you find a good and loving home for your horse. If you know of a horse that is suffering, please let us know and we will work diligently to get that horse into our care or provide food for the horse until we can.

NO ONE will ever know who reported a horse that is in need and we will never judge the owner, our energy is not spent on anger but rather helping every horse we can help, become healthy and available for adoption.

We are not an investigating humane agency, we have no contact with the court system . We exist to make the lives of abused and neglected horses worth something. If we can change the life of an abused horse by educating the owner or purchasing the horse, our mission will be met. There are many good investigating humane organizations fighting this battle in the courts, but sadly the abused horse may die before it is helped.
